Colonists and the Native Americans
Most people from Georgia interacted poorly with the Native tribes. When gold was discovered, the state of Georgia declared was on what they called the "Creek and Seminole" Indians. They provided the Natives with blankets that had been exposed to small pox in an effort to thin their enemies down. Eventually Georgia forced Native America Tribes on what they now call the Trail of Tears to Oklahoma.
